Savannah Healthcare Consulting
SHC Consulting was created to enrich lives, increase profitability and improve health outcomes for people, businesses, and communities. Established in Savannah, Georgia in 2024 as a geriatric care consulting firm, SHC Consulting has since expanded to offer healthcare management, dementia practice and hearing care consulting services to public, private and government healthcare organizations across the U.S.
In addition to consulting services, SHC Consulting provides access to expert and personalized coaching and training services to individuals, groups, providers, governments, and aspiring healthcare professionals.
As an evidence-based, research-driven firm that implements industry best practices into consulting frameworks, SHC Consulting is a leader in providing solutions to routine and complex healthcare issues.

Our Team
Detavious Coleman, DHA, MBA, CDP, CCMA
Chief Executive Consultant
Dr. Detavious Coleman is the executive director and chief consultant of Savannah Healthcare Consulting. Detavious completed a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Montevallo and his Master of Public Administration from Jacksonville State University.
He received a Doctorate in Health Administration from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Coleman specializes in healthcare administration, human resource management, dementia practice, and hearing care. He is currently a licensed hearing care provider (HIS Apprentice), licensed health insurance consultant, certified dementia care provider, certified clinical medical assistant and a SHRM-Certified Professional in human resource management.
Dr. Coleman currently works as a clinic manager and licensed hearing care provider for Lucid Hearing in Savannah, Georgia.
Prior to starting SHC Consulting, Detavious worked as a program director for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and a management analyst for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation and the U.S. Agency for International Development in Washington, DC.
He has extensive experience advising executive managers, consulting business organizations, supervising programs, coaching mid-level professionals and creating organizational value for corporate and nonprofit organizations.
Dr. Coleman is a member of the National Association of Health Services Executives and the Association of University Programs in Health Programs. He recently completed service as an IGNITE Fellow for Teach for America and a Resident Fellow for Generation Teach out of Dallas, Texas.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling, playing tennis and teaching.
